Is there a simple way to block/restrict or filter outgoing calls on three of my four lines?
thanks

detailed instructions appreciated

ok, I have gone thru the manual (500+ pages) a few times, and can't find anything that says how to restrict outgoing on individual lines? I see how to restrict stations and how to restrict everything? but not sure how to restrict just 3 of the 4 lines from being able to dial out?

any help appreciated..

thanks

greg

I do not have a manual in front of me, but I seem to remember MB 5 may help. There is also a MB that will outgoing restrict a trunk by individual extension. I think it's in the MB 3 area. I'll have a manual in front of me tomorrow so I may be able to be more specific then.

MB 4-19 allows you to restrict a specific trunk by individual extension.
MB 5-02 assigns the trunk group to the 8 digit matching restriction table. At default all groups are assigned.
I think you may be looking for MB 4-19.

thanks belevdeder, worked great! the only other thing I want to do is set a "filter" or restriction on the 4th line to block 411 and any other toll info calls? Any help appreciated.
thanks

If you have a programming manual, look at the end of the program section. I think section 6 has a detailed description of how to toll restrict. There are several MB's, but there are also some defaults that can be modified to what you want.
