Hello
Our phone system consists of the phones listed in the subject line above. I purchased a refurbished phone as a last ditch attempt to prolong the life of our current system. I received it today and plugged it in and nothing... I am guessing that some sort of programming needs to be done before the system recognizes the phone??? If that is the case, can anybody point me in the right direction and help me get this phone on-line? Thank you in advance.

What kind of NEC system do you have? IPS, Electra Elite, NEAX 2400? Was it a working port or is it a new extension? Was it cross connected? Previously programmed in and never used until now? When it was plugged in did the LCD show anything? Did it appear to have power?

Our system is an Electra Elite IPK. The port was/is still working and currently has an ETW-16DD-2 plugged into it and is working. The new/refurbished phone purchased shows nothing on the LCD when plugged in and as far as I know, is not programmed. I appreciate the help.

Make sure the jumper is going to the first pair to the jack (green-red)
