Hello. I have a NEAX 2400 IPX with a UCD hunting group programmed (single line telephones). I wish to forward calls to a new pilot number when all extensions from the UCD hunting group are busy. The main extension from the UCD group has a call forward busy to the new pilot number. When all extensions from the UCD group are busy, the next call gets a busy signal (does not call forward busy). I tested the call forward busy without the UCD hunting group and it works fine. The problem is when I combine the UCD hunting group with the call forward busy. I also tried programming all extensions in the UCD group with the call forward busy to the new pilot number. It didn't work. Any ideas?

cancel all your forwards and use the command AUOG. this will overflow to the destination of your choice when all UCD agents are busy. Setting a call forward in a UCD group automatically removes the agent from the UCD.

This is from the interactions section of the feature programming manual.

3. CALL FORWARDING ALL CALLS/BUSY LINE [C-2, 5]: When a member Station in a UCD Group
activates CALL FORWARDING-ALL CALLS [C-5] or CALL FORWARDING-BUSY LINE [C-2],
only calls directed to that Station are forwarded. UCD Group Calls are not affected. UCD Calls will bypass
the Call Forwarded Station.

Basically a call directly to the station will be forwarded but the UCD will skip a station that has these features activated.

Thanks for the info. The AUOG command overflows a UCD group to another UCD group. The extension I want the UCD group to forward to is installed in a different PBX.

have you tried to use auog to a virtual and forward the virtual to the destination?

It worked, thanks NECPBXtech30. I created 2 UCD groups. The real one and the other one with 2 vitual numbers. Did the UCD overflow (AUOG) to the virtuals and call forwarded (no answer) the vituals to the destination. Thanks again.

Its funny how you have to fool the system sometimes. Glad it worked out for you.
