Neat, hide page until content is loaded using a layer

Also thinking ahead, one could put an animated gif or flash movie in the layer, which will let the user know the page is loading.

You would have to add the behaviour to each of your content pages. Also be aware that this show/hide layer effect will not cover some form elements, eg Dropdowns.
