Navishere error

Hi,

I have connection to a legacy fc4400 array via Navishere but when I try to do any configuration a error apears stating Caller not privileged.
Where do I enable myself as privaledged user?

In the Navi agent config file. You need to add yourself as a privledged user. ie: administrator@<your computer name>

i have this same problem, i have added my Logon@pcname using every format i can think of in the agent.config file.
i have restarted the Navi Agent service many times.

You have to make the user-entry in the following syntax:

user username@computername

also a good hint is to change the user into 0 (zero) which means, every (!) user from the machine mentioned as &quot;computername&quot; will have access to the array

Also you can try following solution:

user 0@localhost

which should work also

Yes, it seems that you must log into the local computer with the user that you want to give privileges, such as administrator. I tried using a domain user and could not give it permission in any format I could think of. I also gave the local administrators group permission, but that didn't work either.
