Hi I am a Newbie to Dreamweaver and Fireworks.

Want I need to know is how do I get a complete Navigation bar designed in Fireworks to appear in my Dreamweaver.
Actually the complete operating Nav Bar was provided on the Dreamweavers for Dummies CD-Rom. Its in png format so I opened it in fireworks, tested it and liked it. I exported it out to my images folder in my site. It appears in 40 pieces/slices (as I expected) + 1 piece of html that also went into my images folder.
Now, how the hell do I get the whole operating thing onto my home page??? No full named gif appears in my image folder, only the slices. I tried using the insert navigation bar function but have no idea what the hell this thing is doing. I have Dreamweaver 2 Bible (Yes I know I have Dreamweaver 3 software but I am currently working in China so that is the best I could find) and Dreamweaver3 for dummies but neither provide answers on this form of Nav Bar question. Help me please!!! I am so frustrated right now! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Kind Regards
cruelhoax

you could create a layer and then inside the layer click where you want the fireworks file to appear, next you need to insert the html firework file.
All you need to do is goto Windows/Objects and a floating menu bar appears, by default it should be set at common objects. Next click the option which says Insert Fireworks Html. Next look for the html extension of the fireworks you exported into your site from Fireworks. It should appear and you can browse it(F12) and the navigation bar should work.
Hope this helps.
