I've got a question about NAVCE 7.6 - On client machines (win2K) with Outlook Express installed. Is there any protection against Email borne viruses? . If so how do you go about configuring the relevant options?.

HI.

NAV will catch known viruses when the user tries to launch them because they are first copied to a TEMP folder.
You should make sure that NAV is configured to scan all files.

But this is not enough because there are always new viruses that you might not be updated yet to catch, so you should better use other options in addition.

You can use security features that are built in OE6 (Upgrade from IE5.x is recommended).
