There is an option in NAVCE 7.5 and now 7.6 to force the installation of a client on their next sign-on. However, I can't seem to get that to work properly. We have to locations in our company (one in FL and one in NY). The main server and login server for each facility is also a NAVCE server (which all clients get their DAT files from). The NY location is working flawlessly, we have every computer in the building running CE and updating properly.
However, at our Florida Location we are having a odd problem. Many of the computers dont have NAVCE installed yet (no IT person down there and management in cheap ;-)). Anyways, we figured we could force the installtion and we would pick up more clients. But that hasnt seemed to work properly as yet. Also, we have a few computers that think they are clients (control panels are locked down, etc) but we dont have control of them ... so they dont get their DAT files properly. So of our 40 some odd computers down there, only 12 show up as clients ... and we have no way of knowing how many are running NAVCE and its just not working properly.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
