NAV not doing its job??

I'm surprised that NAV 2003 failed to detect the following trojans, and yet a scan by Sophos identified and deleted these from the infected system.

Troj/D Dos-A
Troj/Flood-eB
Troj/Flood-eK
DIAL/coulomb-F

Anyone care to comment...
