Server: Winnt4 SP6a, Exchange 5.5 SP4, SAV 8.1, NAV for Exchange 2.1 is how it starts.
Client: Win2KPro, Outlook 2000, SAV 8.1
I've searched for a solution for about 2 years without any joy. The problem is that with Nav for Exchange enabled the Outlook clients cannot consistantly synchronize offline folders. I know it's down to NAV for Exchange because when I turn it off the problem goes away. The problem extends to moving items (mail, calendar, notes makes no difference) from the Exchange mailbox to a Personal Folders File - if the item is more than about 20Kb it's pot luck as to whether the copy will work or timeout.
I've tried VAPI, MAPI and VAPI/MAPI scanning modes. I've had background scanning of the information store on and off with each mode and nothing seems to make a difference.
Has anyone else had this? Has anyone solved this? What other detail is needed to solve this?
Thanks in advance,
James Dane
