Hi
Wheneever I start my PC, NAV2002 and ZoneAlarm 3.11.59 (and even other programs such as an English/French dictionary) just crash and stop (without blocking my system) without any message.
Event when I run LiveUpdate (Luall.exe), it starts downloading but stops before all updates are complete (but the process is still visible in the task manager and has to be terminated from there!).
In the administration tools/events, I have under Applications a "True Engine Error" (ZA) and under System a "NAV AutoProtect stopped unexpectedly",
I uninstalled NAV and ZA and reinstalled them but no success.
I have checked that I do not have the Fizzer virus (ran the FixFiz from Syamntec), and don"t have it. At last it is what the fix says.
I would not like to have to format my HDD, so if someone could help me I would be grateful.
Thanks
Best regards
Machpro

NAV 2002 is know to cause troubles, the reasons are various.
Uninstall it and reinstall it if you want to keep it.
Otherwise, upgrade to 2003 or consider AVG ( as an equally good free alternative.

Hi
I do not have any virus (I made an online checking).
I tried to remove NAV2002 but it now refuses to uninstall (the computer hangs when working on registry).
Any clue on how to uninstall a program that cannot be uninstalled automatically (windows) or via the uninst.exe of the relevant sub directory?
Thanks
Machpro

go to symantecs website and search for RNAV*.* and also RNIS*.*

These are custom made uninstallers for Norton Antivirus and Norton Internet Security. Download them run the antivirus application first (rnav) then reboot and run the internet security one (if you have it, RNIS) you should be ok then.
