I have bought a number of copies for PCs at work, and they work fine on the Windows 98 PCs, but I've had to remove it from the Windows XP PCs because it prevents them from printing to network printers, coming up with this error message saying that "Generic Host Process for Win32 Services" has stopped responding - the message coming up either immediately after sending the print command or within a few minutes.

I can find nothing on the Symantec web site about this, and the web site suggests it costs £18 to get telephone support !

I do hope you can tell me what the problem is and how to resolve it.

Jayee,

You might check this URL, found quite a bit of info which might answer your questions and get you going...

Seems it might be related to SP2 security, etc. I am running XP Pro SP1 and just loaded NAV 2002 with no problems connecting, printing to local LAN or out to internet. Keep findng more reasons to hold off SP2!
