Hello there, I've got NAV 2002 normal version running on Windows XP Professional. After downloading updates through liveupdate, everything installs fine except for the program update. All it shows if I press "detail" is Windows 2000 NAV 8.0
I'm clueless as to what to do. Thanks for the help someone.

Hello,Minesweeper!
Your problem is Longfilename value in the registry. Here's the instruction from Symantec 1. Click Start, and then
click Run. The Run dialog box appears.
2. Type regedit and then click OK. The Registry Editor opens.
3. Navigate to the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Filesystem

4. In the right pane, right-click NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation, and then click Modify.
5. Change the number in the Value Data box to 0 as shown in this illustration. Please note that this is a DWORD value, not a String or Binary value
Good luck Al.
