I have learned that Extremes NAT feature only works in one direction (meaning I can NAT the source address),from private to public for example, but if I want to establish a session to the public IP that corresponds to the private IP (meaning I NAT the destination address), can't do it. I can't use Extreme here and I have quizzed some Cisco folks and they say it can't be done on their equipment as well (honestly, these people may not know) so am I out of luck? Are proxy servers used for this type of functionality? Anyone have any insight? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

You are right that NAT on Extreme is half NAT, i think you can use firewall or router to do a full NAT.
