I need to map a private ip address to a public ip address. I'm not sure where to get started. Do I telnet? Do I use Cisco Configmaker? When I use Cisco configmaker and try to detect the router it asks for username, unprivalidged password and privaliged password. I know the top password that I use to get in to the router via telnet, but what is the username and unprivaliged password.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

this is the command that is required to point a private ip to a public ip address.

The gateway on a working pc to that router will give the ethernet ip address.
You can try to telnet, and or access the router through the console port.

If a username password is setup you may have to do a password recovery. Jeter@LasVegas.com
