Hi,

I upgraded from w2k to win 2003 with a clean install.
I use nat wich is sometimes functioning ok and sometimes explore does not find the requested site.

I used the wizzard to install NAT and all seems to be fine and logic but when the line is droped and a user is starting IE it sometimes works fine and sometimes i have to use the "solution"

THe "solution" is to restart the RRAS service

What am i doing wrong, i can't imaging that there is a bug?

Somebudy knows

I had a similar problem, the issue ended up being ipsec. A reconfig of the ports sections cured this. I then created an exact config on the same box after a clear reload and the problem didnt arise.

A trace found to be the configurations from w2k were wrecked with the upgrade.

Hope that helps,

Cheers, Andy

Thanks.

It is fixed by the hard way: a clean install. All working fine
