I want to create VPN (either PPTP or IPSec) with my firewall connected behind a 1401 DSL router.

How should I configure the incoming traffic for tcp port 1427, IP protocol 47 and udp port 500, IP protocol 50 and 51 to be forwarded from my external port to the IP address of my firewall connected to the Ethernet side of the router ?

eg :
ext router IP : 193.65.10.23 /24
int router IP : 172.16.1.254 /16
ext firewall IP : 172.16.1.1 /16

thanks for detailing the CISCO syntax if possible.

I don't have the CISCO syntax for you, but the TCP port you should be using for PPTP VPN is 1723. This works with protocol 47 (GRE).
