So the issue we're having is too many open tabs. We have a very high volume bar. Currently on Aloha the bartenders don't have time to put in a cc tip after they get the signed slip back. So they put it aside and type in the tips after close. This results in a huge stack of cc slips at the end of the night. Over 100 sometimes. On Aloha, after u run a cc on a tab, it will pull it off the open tab screen. That doesn't happen on Micros. On Micros, a tab will stay on the "open tab" screen until u put in the tip. This results in 100's of open tabs. Even though you actually have maybe 50 open tabs, you'll have multiple pages of tabs with 80% of those just waiting for the tip to be put in. This really slows down the bartender when they have to scroll through multiple screens just to look for a tab to add to it. What should happen is that when you run a cc on a tab to close it out, it should be moved off the "open tab" screen, even if u haven't put in the tip yet to make the screen less congested.
