I just received a Pix 506 and I am starting off real simple. All I want to do is allow my users web access to start off with. I am able to reach the web with direct IP's but I cannot use DNS(i.e. What do I need to do to get this functioning?

You need to have an internal DNS server, sitting on the same network as your clients (I can't remember whether the 506 has 1 DMZ interface.)

You can also have your inside clients looking at a DNS server on the outside. Just specify the address of teh DNS server in their machines on in the scope of your DHCP.
