Name resolution working with ping but not with SSH.

Hi, we've got an issue with name resolution in two of our AIX (5300-09) boxes. Name resolution is working with ping but not with SSH. Lookup / reverse lookup is working with nslookup.
What's wrong?

Hi,

Did you verified the hostname is listed on correct ethernet interface i.e eno, en1 ..etc. what ever ethernet interface you are using.

#ifconfig -a

verify for same ehternet you have hostname entry.

What's the output of ssh -v hostname?
