Name greeting playing after personal greeting Essential Edition - Embedded VM 1

Hey guys,

Strange issue. When a user records their personal greeting and a caller calls them, it plays the personal greeting but immediately plays the name greeting with the system stating they are not available.

Why is this doing this and how can I just make it play the personal greeting ONLY.

It confuses callers cause the personal greeting is already saying they are not available.

This is a known issue with Intuity Mode with certain releases. What release are you? I would switch it to IP Office Mode. No issues with IPO mode.
 
Turns out the issue is on R8.0(18) , you have to update to R8.0(51) per Avaya.
