Name displays rather than number on ACD

Hi All!!

So we want to change the CLID to display number rather than Name followed by VDN name on Agents 9611 phone.
If I set up the vector to route to my extension (non ACD) it puts in name and number of customer, but as soon as I ACD and staff agent I get Name of customer and VDN name follows on same display line. Does anyone know how to change from Name and VDN to Number and VDN? How can I adjust these parameters? Any help would be appreciated ;) thank you!
 
I also have Avaya SBCE/SMGR/SM and don't really want to go the SIP header/Adaptation route (if it's even possible). Looking for a CM feature :)
 
I was looking through the 46xx file and I don't think there's an easy way, at least not on the surface.

DISPLAY_NAME_NUMBER works on SIP phones

Is CALLCTRSTAT = 1? That enables various call center features and tweaks certain settings to use a default value more in line with call center operations. It also enables certain other features that you can't use unless CALLCTRSTAT=1.

It sucks, but maybe turning name display off on the trunks might be the only way. I'd like to know a better answer to this too!
 
DISPLAY_NAME_NUMBER that feature will work :) Thanks Kyle!! Now I need to convert all the H323 phones to SIP in the Call Center :/

I will look in to SIP trunk features on CM for the meantime...
 
Yeah, don't do that. There's way more to doing SIPCC phones than that, and it'll be a big mess for just that one feature. Maybe there is a way on H323. I don't know what it would be. Depending how important name display is to you, disabling name might be the easiest way. Or, use One-X Agent in shared control of the deskphones, it'll probably show both out of the box real easy. I don't think that requires any licenses.

Or, like you said, a sigma script that replaces the name part of the URI with the number part would make it transparent, but you don't want to go there either.
 
You are correct our softphones one-x phones display both no issues...
