I currently have a IFC=ESGF TIE connected to a VOIP server. Dialplans show up correctly, however names do not display across. Under RCAP, I cannot set ND2 or ND3 with this IFC type. Is there an alternative solution to this? Or a recommended QSIG IFC ?

The other side may not used the same QSIG level protocol.
Try to enquiry about it.

The other side only has 1 qsig selection. Is there another IFC I can change on the Nortel side?

This is using a TMDI card with T1 PRI to Asterisk server.

The basic QSIG is ESIG or ISIG. These protocols doesn't support name display.
Then ESGF or ISGF
EGF4 or IGF4
E403 or I403

E is for ETSI
I is for ISO

You can try anyone depending on the software package your PBX have.

Which PBX is the other side ?

It is an Asterisk PBX. I will check with the developer of the QSIG protocol stack to determine which flavor of QSIG is employed. Will post update ASAP.

Is there a popular flavor? ETSI or ISO?

Any other ideas will be welcome....

In the RCAP did you try NDO for ESGF interface ?
For ISO interface choose NDI

Tried all the RCAP above including NDO and NDI, still no names.

Also I get SCH0531 when trying to add QMWI. This is message waiting indicator I assume and would be nice.

Any other ideas to try?????????????

OK, problem FIXED.

IFC=ISGF with RCAP=COLP NDI CCBI CCNI PRI DV3I CTI works!

In addition, how can I get QMWI to work? I'm getting SCH0531 when attempting. Here's what it says about SCH0531 which I don't understand:

SCH0531
Unable to match input with stored mnemonics. The RCAP prompt in overlay
=
16 has been answered NDS when QSUr QSIG GF are not accessible or with =
an inappropriate interface configured (e.g. Sl 1).=20
Action: Reconfigure accordingly.

Is there another RCAP I can use to transmit MWI across the QSIG tie?

No RCAP.
Different possibilities :
1- Use the Outcalling of the Mail to a specific DN of the other side
2- Create a analog trunk between M1 and QSIG PBX. The Outcalling of the Mail will send a call to that rout. The other side may be programmed to "understand" that call

You can use ACDN or Phantom DN. That the same result, but phantom DN can remotly call forward with a phone versus ACD NCFW can be changed by terminal access only...
