Name Display on call pickup 1

We have 3900 series sets which do not show cpnd of the originating caller when call pickup is used - it shows the name of the called set instead. Picking up a call on 2616 sets shows the original caller's name.

Any idea why the 3903's and 3904's only show the called name instead of the originating set? I have one or two people asking for their old 2616 back so that they can see the originating caller's name.
