Name display for internal call over IP trunks between systems

Calls from set to set on 1 system display the name as Firstname Lastname
Calls between 2 systems over IP trunks display F. Lastname

I know I've looked into this before and previously the only way to resolve the display issue was to program the full name in the last name field. (Not an option for this site).

Does anyone know a way to get this to work without spoofing the system?

I have complained about this before to Mitel years ago.
I thought they said it might be resolved in a future release. This was about 4 years ago, I guess it hasn't been resolved.
 
I'm not surprised Sarond, only disappointed. I was hoping I missed an update.

My site is fully integrated with AD with ALL application active. Spoofing the name is not an option.

I simultaneously opened a ticket with Mitel on this. Waiting for an answer.

i have the same problem right now with two customers. IP Trunk calls are always the first initial last name.
 
Mitel Tech Support said:
This is by design that when one calls across a trunk, you will get the first initial and the last name as the name display, and full first and last name when called internally.

Please raise a DCR if the full first and last name are to be displayed when calling across a trunk.
