On a BCM50 3.0, is there a way to label a key (on an IP phone) with a name associated with the number on an external autodial?
Basically, I am trying to get a key labeled as "HelpDsk", which is an external number, on the display of my IP Phones. Currently it shows just the phone number -- programmed with Feature *1 + key + phone number.
I have tried adding HelpDesk to a system speed dial. Feature 0 + 08 will dial the HelpDsk and show its name on the display. However, I can't seem to figure out how to assign a specific speed dial entry to a key.
How can I have a text label for a key that dials an external number?
