I have a customer who just got a new NAM and 5.0 MICS. I have outcalling turning on, i go into the mailbox initialize the mailbox and head to outcalling options, pager notification, and enter out calling digits and then the info digits.

The problem is this...Outcalling works fine to say a cell phone, it outcalls immediately to my cell phone (and a million other numbers I've tried) and enters the digits a few seconds later into my ear. The client's pagers are all the same. You call the pager and it immediatly answers with the beep beep beep and then you can enter you phone number or something immediately. I have called each pager directly from a land line (same local area) from the system and they work great, I call the pager number it gives you the beeps and then you enter your telephone number, hand up and a few seconds later it appears on the pager. You can't leave a voice message on these pagers just digits.

I know I'm leaving out some special charater for pagers

Maybe I'm missing the problem here, but it sounds to me it's doing exactly what it's supposed to do. If the voicemail is set to do pager notification, that's what it is looking for. It does not expect any voice paths. If you set it do a regular number, also a cell phone, yes it will look for a voice path. Try setting up the pager alert with the regular outdial, then after the pager number insert a pase (Feature78) and then punch in the call back number.
Shooting in the dark..
