NAM voice mail down

I have a NAM that is 4.1 with ACD and 16 ports and it crashed.
F915 (only feature that works all the time) shows first 10 ports as A's and dots for remaining 6.
Every reboot the other feature codes seem to work for a few minutes then go inactive.

Tech onsite now after hours and has a spare NAM but want to retain the programming since no backup was done.
We have rebooted , restored sekur, replaced PIC card, nothing working.....now what?

Is your ACD still running? I ask this because, I believe you may want to separate the 2 (ACD and VM)

In the past these two applications when installed together crashed the voicemail and or acd. Replacing all the stuff in the unit will probably not help. Also, if this was a working unit, but just recently crashed.. you may have a bad hard drive or some sort.

I would recommend getting another unit and reinstall the ACD.

Well the supervisor can see who is logged in but no calls are coming in to the ACD.

Will the sekur file back up to the new hard drive?

 
If you have the same MB and everything, the capabilities will backup to the same unit. If not, then no it will not.

How long has this been installed?

You said version 4.1 NAM what version ACD and what type of ACD (Prelude, Cinphony I or II)

We are new to the system so not sure of version but pretty sure Cynphony with 22 users or so.

The tech installed another hard drive to see help determine hard drive failure or other hardware and now no codes work so I told him to remove F codes and reboot.

When you say port do you mean the fibre port on the KSU? we thought no because F915 was working.

Tek-tips not loading for me yet other sites do tonight reseaon for my dely in answering, rebooted my PC and high speed.

Ok you definitely won't have a Prelude or Minuet if you have 22 Agents.

The hard drive you put in, did it work for another unit? Can't guarantee it'll work for one, and it'll work for the other. You are right in regards to the XFTEST. Always do this first before the installation of a voicemail, unless this is a new install.

It would be nice to know if this is an existing problem and what version exactly you have. Certain versions will have this problem and others will not. Just can't tell you if you don't know.

Based on the assumption that it is a new 4.1 NAM with Cinphony 3.6.0027 the ACD and VM should have been sold separately. I always do and will not install the ACD co-resident.
