Setting up a system that was out of service for a long time. MICS R1T1 is with a fiber NAM 3.0

The MICS is wokring just fine after I reset it to factory default and changed the ext. number to 3 digits. However I needed to factory reset the NAM 3.0. It use to have 4 digits. I went thru the normal PW reset procedure that went ok but when I defaulted it when I F983 and enter the pw 120000 or 1020000 or 10020000 it just says EXITs no retry 3 times just EXIT.

Can;t figure out what I may have done wrong. I have reset many times before.

Can anyone suggest anything to help? Thanks!

It sounds like he used f985, 9 reset to change the 983 password.

You'll have to do a reinstall on the NAM.

Yes, it was the config password that I needed. I was using the 1020000 instead.

Worked just fine.

Thanks!
