I heard that NAMs have the ability to give
some crude statistics about inbound/outbound
calls. Is this correct? If so, how do we
get to that info?

The customer has a NAM 8 with 4.0 V3G

You can use NVM manager to get both inbound and outbound call activity, as well as port usage, for the previous seven days.

It is windows based software that you can purhcase from a vendor or supplier.

the PC or the MICS?

you will need a nic card "newer nams have one"and a network connection ,ip address,nam should have ip lite diskette to configure the ip if on network or a crossover cable to a laptop or you desktop if there is no network,you need vm manager 3 for rel 3's and vm manager 4 for the rel 4's
