I have NAM 4.0 that uses the AA feature and is set up to answer after 2 rings. The problem I am having is this. When I call the main number the AA answers I then select the extension I want to call and try to leave a message, the only problem is this when I get to the extension after the programmed answering period of 3 rings it goes back to default message of "using the dial pad enter the extension you wish to call, or to use the directory enter #, or to reach an operator press 0" etc. So basically I cannot leave any messages in any voicemail boxes on the system other then if I have the operator transfer me using feature 986. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Have you checked your transfer ringback timer? I set this on 12 when I have a voicemail on the system. it is located at Feature * * 2 6 6 3 4 4->System programming->Feature Settings->Transfer ringback.

Actually I have that setting on 6 with no DRT set and I still can't nail it down, thank you for your reply.

If you call an ext from within the system (from another ext) do you get their vm box?

Hello, can someone tell me what the redirect dn on the Namm is for, and where it is located? And is this required from now on or only in certain applications?
