Hi, I'm trying to run NAI Sniffer Pro on a computer with
Windows XP Pro, and a network card, but when I run it, it tells me:

Sniffer failed to open the selected adapter .

This maybe a result of:

1. Agent connection attempt cancelled by user.
2. User failed to enter correct password.

This may also be caused by one of the following situations:
1. The adapter driver is installed more than once.
2. The previously selected PCMCIA adapter has been removed.
3. The Token Ring adapter cable may not be connected to a MAU or token ring Hub

Please consult README file for more information.

Choose [OK], if you wish to start program in log off mode
Choose [Cancel], to close Sniffer and Exit the program.

Hi, you need to have SnifferPro 4.7.5 for running on the WinXP (The latest version for suport WinXP), otherwise you will get those error. BTW, you should have the NAI certified NIC for your installation.

Hi:

Sniffer Pro 4.7.5 release is intended to work on Laptops only, I installed in a desktop and just sometimes it worked fine.
