MS will nag people who switch from Edge to a different browser according to this article.

Looks like it is a one-time nag. No big deal.

I have used Firefox from day one, if there was a nag, it was one time, it was a while ago, and have forgotten about it. But it doesn't nag me now, and I switch to edge sometimes.

The nag will come out once when you change the default. It will not come out every time you use the other browser. Not a big deal IMHO.

I use Chrome on my Win 10 laptops. When opening a link in an email, it always opens in Edge as Edge is the default in Win 10. From what I have read, one cannot remove Edge from the computer.

As far as "Nag" I have just gotten used to seeing Edge pop up. It's ugly, but it works

If Chrome is set as the default browser, then an email link will use it. Open up the chrome browser, click the hamburger icon in the upper right, select settings and there is a "set chrome as the default browser" button in the settings.

I have Chrome as default on 3 different PCs, I don't get any nagging messages! and links always open in Chrome.
