N3941 Error while restoration

Hello,

I am using ArcServe 9.0 (2020) on windows 2000 server with Dell PV 132T and trying to restore a .bkf file from a SDLT. While backing up this file there was no error and while restoring it is giving an error N3941-marked as invalid. On CAs site it states that you should be running build 2040 in order to resolve this and I applied the same patch but the same error is still coming. Any ideas?

Was verify done when it was backed up?
Does it happen with any other bkf files?
What type of file is it?

there was no error while backup of this file. This is an exchange Information store backup. I applied the patch mentioned on CA's site but i am not able to restore the files which were backed up prior to applying this patch. yes it is happening with couple of other bkf files too.
