I have a database that is giving me an error stating that I don't have access to the MySysObjects table. Any idea why this type of thing happens? I hadn't been making any development changes, but I did access the MDB and security file from a different computer then I normally do....

MySysObjects or MSysObjects?

MySysObjects is a system table used by Access used to track your objects in your database (tables, forms, reports, etc.) Pretty important stuff.

If this table is gone, create a new database and try to import your regular tables, queries, forms, etc into your new database.

The table is there but it says that the "Engine" owns it and during a make table query it claims that I don't have access.

Are you updating the table??

You should not be - it is a system table.

If you are not doing anything to the table, then Access is confused - Run Compact and epair (From Menu, "Tools" -> "Database Utilities")
