So even after I removed an announcement from my vector, it still keeps playing? if I do a list usage on the announcement it does not show up in this vector- what a day! Any ideas? I removed the entire vector and started over, still there!

Have you tried doing a list trace on the VDN that points to the vector? It should show the announcement that is playing.

Did you change it in the CMS, and not save it?

Carpe dialem! (Seize the line!)

AZ- yes it does not show the message in the vec trace or the music that plays!
David- no i didnt sav trans
duf- I didnt do it in CMS
I think I am losing it, I am going to try save... still there!

Build a new vector from scratch, and move the VDN there.

Find all the vectors that use the broken vector (list usage vector x) and point them to the new vector too.

In CM did you (or do you want to) remove the announcement off the board? (ch ann) to remove it. Also is this on a VAL board? (Li integ) will show you the announcements and the board they are on.

When is the last time you helped someone, just because you were able to?

Mikey,
I just want it to quit playing mysteriously in my vector! Its the strangest thing. I removed the entire vector and saved and now I will see what it does when I reprogram it this morning- thanks everyone, I will post if I figure anything out.

My thinking was if it is stuck in software somewhere not letting you remove it from the vector, that removing it from communications manager software may get rid of it.

Let us know how it comes out for you.
