What this means ? Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2). The software "MySql" is on my Windows XP machine and my website is on a Linux server. What is the problem ? Thank

mysql.sock is a socket, it should be created by the mysql process if it doesn't exist *provided* the mysql user has write permissions to the directory.
