Hi All,

I have a MySQL database of my client's server documentation and am learning PHP to 'web-enable' the database and make it accessible to others in my shop. What I'd like to eventually do is have a web page on our intranet where they can enter the name of the document or even a server name for all documents related to it and have it return the links to the docs. As I'm sure something exists which can do this and I'd rather not reinvent the wheel, could someone suggest some applications or even script packages that might help me create what I want? Thanks in advance. d3funct

The software required `Windows 95 or better', so I installed Linux.

While I do not know of one offhand, you can look over at sourceforge ( or freshmeat ( to find something that will work for you ...

Doing a simple search at freshmeat for "PHP Search Engine" a number of interesting projects were returned :) and a number of them can be modified to fit your needs ...

Hope that helps...
