MySQL as data source 1

Hi everyone. Have a question. How do I connect MYSQL database in Crystal? I am thinking Create New Connection > More Data Sources > JDBC (JNDI). Is this icorrect?

Hi,
What platform is the MySql database running on?

Usually you would have a specific ODBC ( or maybe JDBC) driver instaled on your workstation that you would use - try both DataSources/ODBC and JDBC.

I got it solved after I posted this post. I did installed MYSQL OBDC connection and it works fine. Thanks!

Where did you get the MYSQL ODBC connection.

I have been trying to use a JDBC connection and failing miserably.

No problem. It isn't very apparent on their website as to where this is located.

I installed MySQL OBDC driver, then connect OBDC from there. I got it from our DBA. I believe you can download it some where on web.
