MyHome --> Favorites

Team, We want to disable MyHome and make it Favorites.

I went to Admin page and under Java Module Administration unchecked the checkbox for application server and restarted LL services.

But the check box comes right back and MyHome stays as it is.

Any reason why this is happening? Is there any ini settings for this checkbox I can look at?

This was a known issue in 970, but as AppNair says it is fixed in a patch. If this does not work OT Support can tell you what to update in the DB to resolve it.

Put March 2009 patch Greg/AppNair but still no use. I will check with support on this.

go to each servers opentext.ini file and insert the two lines below under [QuickLinks]

personal1=Favorites
personal2=My Workspace

Insert them and restart your livelink services

Not sure what happened. 2 days after applying the march 2009 patch, myhome still stayed. But a restart yesterday cleared it and bought Favorites.

This has actually never been resolved completely as the root cause hasn't been found. It can still happen with the latest patches, and the solution is to use the [QuickLinks] approach.
