NIC card has no problem.
i uninstall nic driver and reinstall it which may lead to reset tcp/ip configuration.
i uninstall IE7 and reinstall it.
i can ping 127.0.0.1 and any ip outside of the internet.
i use nslookup to resolve google.com and ping and tracert the ip and get proper response from the server.
So, my pc receive internet connection.
Then i try to ping google.com, msn.com,etc and failed
so i think it's DNS issue.
I checked hosts file which has only 1 entry:
127.0.0.1 localhost
I run winsocketfix program etc.
another thing i verified is that i put ip address directly into web broswer and it works.
so, i think it can't solve the host name.

I have norton360 and spy sweeper. However,i turned off all the anti-virus engine and spy sweeper engine and their GUIs.

does anyone have solution for this?
i think it is infected, but i can't update virus definition because it needs internet access.
i can't run spybot and spyware doctor without internet update of virus definition.

stfaprc, the ip address shows correctly. it's private ip.
thank you.

i solved it by update the service pack from 2 to 3.
thank you anyway.
