My SIP Trunks are working for inbound and outbound calls. Vitelity is the provider and for incoming calls the address is inbound6.vitelity.net and for outgoing it is outgoing.vitelity.net

However, I think my success is partially due to luck as opposed to the circuit being configured correctly. Status indicates Registered on both with no Alarms.

I've searched the Avaya site for Vitelity Application Notes but haven't found any.

I would appreciate it if someone could review the general points of the SIP config below and advise if I'm following best practices or if I need to be referred to a doc for additional guidance. Thank you.

You only need one SIP trunk.

Its used for in and out bound.

if you want you can add all the numbers are URIs and then present any of those numbers.

@Hairlesssupportmonkey - that's what I figured but I can't make the mental connection of where the provider's inbound site of inbound6.vitelity.net is incorporated in the configuration. I'm reading the Help file the ITSP name is more for outbound registration (outbound.vitelity.net) and get totally lost on the inbound portion. I appreciate your feedback.

Indeed one SIP trunk is all you need. You can also use two different line groups outgoing and incoming if You want.

Thanks AndrePa - but it still brings me to my configuration stumbling block of if I only have SIP Line and the ITSP is set to outbound.vitelity.net I can make outgoing calls but not receive incoming. It's only when I build the 2nd SIP Line with an ITSP of inbound6.vitelity.net do I receive calls. So I know I can play around with Monitor and see the incoming call but I don't know where to plug that into the URI setup in a single SIP line scenario.

Thanks
