MY REPORTS ARE PRINTING TOO SLOW !!!

I work with foxpro 2.6 Windows.
My server is w2000 Server.
My printer is Laser.

Any ideas?

Dear Friend,

You can try using the printer default font or "Draft"/"System" font for printing.

True type fonts are printed fast.

Once a report is "given" to the Windows printing subsystem (Spooler, etc.) there is nothing you can do programmatically. Did you change the server, change the spooler configuration, make network changes?

Do a search in the keywords section... I had the same problem with W2000 and FPD26 which was solved by adding one line of code set printer to after each print instruction...

It helped us... speeded printing manifold.

I reckon that WIn 2000 is the real culprit
