My Prints remain in the queue even when printed

I have recently started having a problem on my Windows 2003 Print Server where i keep getting jobs that have printed and then the status changes to delete but the job remains in the queue until the spooler is shutdown and restarted but the problem is this then prints what was in the queue.This is happening on my HP1300 and HP3800 and HP3550 but not to every job. Anyone any ideas

I am having this same issue with my windows 2003 DC/print server. When I restart the print spooler everything prints out.

Thanks for that but mine dont think they are printing it is as though it can't complete the delete after the print and it doesn't affect all prints to that printer
