I newly installed Win2000 on my PC and i have a modem called
RS56/SP-PCI R6793-11 Rockwell 98
i dont know how to get driver for it support win 2000
pleas HELP ASAP...

There is very little help on your page to confirm weather the drivers are for windows 2000 or not "Comtech"
My modem is : RS 56/SP-PCI R6793-11 ROCKWELL 98 Single chip type.
If you do have it please could you e-mail it to me.
It looks like others are having the same problem

The page is divided into 3 columns. One for each OS, Windows9x/ME, WinNT, Win2K. Can't be THAT hard to navigate.
At 5000+/- hits/day, I rarely get complaints.
There are 4 mirror sites, if you can't get to the main. If you have trouble downloading from one, try another.
If you find R6793-11 it's color coded to match the driver for your OS further down the page. Cheers,

There are still no adequate drivers for this type of modem and WinXP, all I have tried do not work at all.

XP drivers are now on my modems page.
They do work, with MOST Rockwell/Conexant chipset modems.

I have a modem. RS 56/SP-PCI R6793-11 ROCKWELL

it runs in win98. I am working in tow DOS. Windows 98 and Windows 2000.

I can use modem in Win98 but not in Win2000. I setup modem.

Than ý will check it but it shows a message. Can not open connection point. (COM)..

Please help.

I have a laptop emachine eSlate 450k that I had to format
and reinstall win98 OS, I found all the drivers except
the modem drivers, the hardware specifications : Conexant
RS56/SP-PCI, R6793-11 model M171, I tried drivers of
Jim's web site but didn't reconize any.I fill frustated
