My mobo and the future. 1

Hello everyone.

How long do you think this mobo will last me? I don't require super high performance but i like some speed.

This is what i have:

mobo A7N8X Deluxe
cpu AMD Athlon XP 2400+ 266
RAM 256+256 Daul channel 400 3200 w/max 3gig
HHD 2x40 gig on IDE
VID nVidia 64mb i think.

Do you think 2 years down the road if i have this computer and max out all the ports, it will still be a good pc.

It will always be a very good XP PC.
It will be an adequate Longhorn workstation.
It might be possible in 2+ years to add to your video options by replacing the video board. This would move you to good Longhorne workstation.

When the times comes, you will be ready for a pure 64-bit processor, and a different Buss.
