My mapped drives are growing on a NT4.0 Workstation, Help

For some reason a mapped drive I have on one of my Workstations is reproducing itself. I check with TechNet and their solution does fix my setup. The article said it was because I had shortcuts targeted to a drive letter instead of an unc, but that is not the case. Anyone got any ideas.<br>

Check any login scripts the user runs for any eroneuos logic. Maybe a routine that tries to connect drive A to share name "myshare", if fails, connect to drive "A +1", or Drive B, and so on??<br>
