Using Norton Anti Virus 2003 on XP..

It only suddenly has started happening.

I have checked for Virus's with NAV and other software and they all report clean. What could have screwed my settings up and how can I keep them set!!!

Thanks

HI.

Check the Event Viewer of the workstation - any related error or warning reported?

Try to rename the folder
C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\SYMANTEC SHARED\VIRUSDEFS
and then run Live Update again - does it help or makes things worse?
Try also to run:
CHKDSK C: /F

You might still be infected, maybe a virus running on the computer tricks the AV software.
Try to connect the hard disk as slave to another computer with updated anti virus and scan from there. Now do you get anything?
You can also try to remove and reinstall NAV.

Bye
