I now have folder redirection set up on 'My Documents' in a Windows Server 2003 domain. It works fine to a point. It points the 'My Documents' folder to \\Server\User Areas and it creates a 'My Documents' folder automatically for the user the first time they log on in there own home directory. One small problem though, the user can access this folder fine through the desktop. However, when they try and access it via MS Word for example via the Open screen, if I click on the shortcut folder 'My Documents' it displays a "You do not have access to this folder \\Server\User Area". If I browse to it normally the user can get to it, shortcuts to 'My Documents' don't seem to work in applications! I can't grant users access to the whole of the 'User Areas' folder as this would give everyone access to everyone's personal files. ANY IDEAS on how to sort this problem out?
