My Documents Problem 1

I don't even really know how to explain this, but My Documents folder seems to be stuck in displaying things in date mode. Like if I save something, instead of displaying by name, it displays by date.
No matter what I try to do, it still just displays by dates, and its just that My Documents folder that does it. At first I thought it was a virus, but I scanned my computer, and there wasn't anyway, so I'm really stumped now.

Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing this?

Do you mean it sort via date or that all it display is the date with no filenames or file size.

It sorts via the date. Sorry for not mentioning that.

Have you tried "View", "Arrange Icons", select something other than "by Date"?

Yeah, but it does absolutely nothing. Because once I close the window, it all reverts back into the date setting once I reopen it.

If you already sort via filename by just clicking Name than give this a try.

This isn't specific to My Documents. Try it in both Explorer and My Documents.
